Lessons for Good Living

  1. Spend 24 hours saying or thinking only positive things. No complaining, criticizing or finding fault in others.
  2. Sip iced tea at 4:00 p.m. each day for the rest of the summer.
  3. Listen to what your spirit is saying to you and live it.
  4. Say thank you to your family each time they do something nice for you.
  5. Put on your favorite music, turn it up loud, and dance.
  6. Set aside at least 10 minutes each day to steal away to a quiet place and breathe.
  7. Walk at least one mile, 5 days a week.
  8. Purchase and use good linen napkins for dinner at least once a week.
  9. Read one inspiring book by the end of summer.
  10. Have a grown-up sleepover with a group of girlfriends and tell silly stories.
