Lessons for Good Living
- Initiate a conversation with someone who is at least 25 years older than you and then listen to what they have to say.
- Prepare “breakfast in bed” for you and eat it — IN BED!
- Take an hour-long, quiet bubble bath at least once a week.
- Forgive someone for something they did to you over five years ago.
- Write a love letter to yourself and mail it to you.
- Make a list of things you wish you could do but never had the courage and then do at least one.
- Laugh at your silly mistakes; and for recognizing how little they matter.
- Spread a picnic in your backyard, balcony or living room floor, at night, and share it with someone you love.
- Think of at least one good thing about the person closest to you that you would miss if they were gone and tell them.
- Write a prayer for your family and what you would like it to be and read it each day.
