This section of the magazine is devoted to what to make for dinner; more importantly, what to make for dinner for and with your kids.

Each month we will focus on menu ideas for different meal categories; with ideas to get you through a typical work week. And because we know that cooking from scratch each night is very unrealistic, we will make recommendations of items that can be easily picked up from your local gourmet or super market and show you how to add the right “from-scratch” sides dishes to round out your meals.

And, as always, we welcome ideas from our readers of what has worked well for your family. The only rule is — it has to be healthy, wholesome and good!

For recipes on any of these suggestions, please email me and I will get it right back to you. Bon apetit!
