Passion Pizza
Chef Darian Davis
My passion for presenting kids like myself and younger kid-friendly means is powerful. I believe there is a healthy alternative to all the foods we love. Who doesn't like the classic taste of a good pizza? I am originally from New York, so I know good pizza! This month I bring to you my healthy version of New York Pizza. I started with a multigrain Mission Flatbread that I cut with a pizza cutter in the shape of a slice of pizza. Next I topped it with pizza sauce and shaped my fresh mozzerella cheese in the shape of a ghost. I then used two black beans for eyes to sneak in a little extra fiber. You can also use black olives for the eyes. So easy and the kids will love it!
