On June 14, 2010 the Hopkins House Preschool Academy in cooperation with The MotherLink and Recipes for Good Living Magazine’s “Growing Good™” Initiative launched a week-long, fun-filled curriculum for preschoolers to help them learn how to “grow good”.
The children planted a garden, learned how to play hop-scotch and dodge-ball, made a delicious salad from examples of some of the things they planted in the garden, learned a new “rap” song to help them remember and they engaged their parents as an important part of the process.
And in the end they discovered that though they are small, their influence is big as they learn how to eat, live, be well and thrive.
