Founded in 1999, The Mother Link, Inc. was created for the purpose of educating, advocating and supporting women in their role as mothers.
The overall mission is:
- To recognize the important role of mothers in the nurture and care of their children and the family.
- Provide educational and support programs for mothers of all ages as well as opportunities for community service and emphasize the role of mothers as teachers of children, care of the home and the important role they play in the community, nation and the world.
- To provide a strong voice on issues that concern family and children.

In 2010 the Annual Mother Daughter Tea Day was created with a primary focus of helping women and girls to recognize their value and importance in their individual homes, communities and globally.
