Garden Brunch
This time of the year is a perfect time to host a garden brunch! The temperature outdoors is just right and the mosquitoes and bugs are not quite in full swing. The first bloomers are also making their appearance which means there is an abundance of color to enjoy.
This month’s column will give you a close up look at what’s on the menu, plus a few tips for planning and hosting a brunch of your own with ease.

Tips:
- Prep, prep, prep!
- Plan a menu that has something for everyone.
- Do all of your polishing of glassware, silverware and pressing of linens well in advance — 2 weeks out.
- Use a fresh cuttings of flowers, vines and other interesting greenery from your garden to accent the tables.
- Use real china, silverware and crystal or glassware. In other words don’t contribute to the landfill with paper and plastic.
