Seared Scallops with Garlic and White Wine
Ingredients:
- 8 large scallops
- Kosher salt & pepper
- Minced garlic, 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil
- Dry White Wine
Technique:
Heat a sauté pan to hot. Add just enough olive oil to coat the pan, about 1 teaspoon. Season scallops with salt and pepper. Add to pan and sear until brown on one side. Turn over. Add garlic and stir. Add 1/8 cup white wine. Stir. Allow to cook for another minute and serve immediately. Serve with thin roasted potatoes and mesclun green salad.
