Turkey Burger Panini with Provolone and Spinach
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ chopped yellow onion
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon each, Kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh spinach leaves
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 Ciabatta Rolls
- Olive oil, for brushing
Technique:
In a medium bowl, mix ground turkey, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape into 4 burgers and grill until medium well done.
Split ciabatta sandwich rolls in half, adding burger to one-half of each. Top burger with spinach leaves and cheese. Top with other half of rolls. Heat a Panini grill to hot. Brush sandwiches with a little olive oil on each side. Place on griddle and grill until cheese is bubbly hot and roll is toasted.
Serve with sweet potato chips and apple slaw.
