Turkey Burger & Sweet Potato Fries

Turkey Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh ground turkey
- 1 tbs. sea salt
- 1 tbs. fresh ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Whole wheat hamburger buns
- Fresh lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions and sliced dill pickles
- Cheese slices of your choice
Technique:
In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, salt pepper and garlic powder. Shape into burger patties. Grill patties using a George Foreman grill or on an outdoor grill until done. Add cheese slices. Serve on toasted or heated hamburger buns. Serve with toppings.
Baked Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients:
- 1 medium sweet potato per person
- olive oil
- Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
- Mixture of cinnamon and brown sugar (optional)
Technique:
Peel and slice potatoes evenly into medium strips. Place in a bowl. Add enough olive oil to lightly coat. Salt and pepper lightly. Add a strip of parchment paper to a cookie sheet. Place potato strips onto parchment in a single layer. Bake in a preheated 450-degree for about 15-20 minutes. Turn after about 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with brown sugar cinnamon mixture.
